Waverly needed more work than we ever imagined. It was such a wonderful house that had been so thourghly neglected.
We found several sets of these doors and decided walking out onto a concrete patio from the living room was a grand idea.
This is a us realizing we have to replace the foundation. One of those days.
She's coming along…
We replicated the Tudor style arch in several places. This leads to the kitchen.
Laying out the tile to make sure we get it right.
Gluttons for punishment that we are- we couldn't find single panel doors small enough for the closets… So we made them.
Made matching medicine cabinets with two old doors we had in the heap.
Broken concrete path...
Love this photo. Lacing in some new flooring to tie into the existing.
This Mahogany gate came out stunning. We also built the wall, pillars, and did all the brick work using bricks laying around the house.
Each railing picket was cut out of a dog eared fence panel. The sound of multiple jigsaws and routers went on for days. It sounded like many large bees flying around.
Kitchen cabinets in process.
I am guessing this picture was taken 2 days before the photo shoot. Its always an insane deadline.
